Swedish/Australian twin sister duo Saint Lou Lou will release, on August 27th, this brilliant nostalgic/dreampop track, perfect soudtrack of an ending summer… The single is realeased via Kitsuné and do expect different remixes, including one from CFCF! Promising.

McAlmont & Nyman: Secrets Accusations And Charges (Max Cooper Reconstruction) - Stream
En tant que fan absolu de Peter Greenaway, impossible de ne pas vénérer Michael Nyman qui a mis en musique plusieurs de ses films. C’est ce même Nyman qui s’était associé, en 2009, à son compatriote David McAlmont. Le résultat, The Glare, revisitait des morceaux déjà existant du compositeur anglais, accompagnés de lyrics signées McAlmont. En 2012, au tour de Max Cooper d’offrir une nouvelle vision du projet en offrant une Reconstruction d’un des titres de cet album, Secrets Accusations And Charges. Ces rencontres artistiques ne pouvaient donner qu’un résultat exaltant! Attendez-vous aussi à une “Deconstruction” du titre, toujours par Cooper, qui sera plus dance-floor friendly.
As a pure fan of Peter Greenaway, one just has to love Michael Nyman. The british composer released, in 2009, The Glare, an album which finds McAlmont putting lyrics based on contemporary news stories to 11 pieces of Nyman music drawn from different phases of his career. In 2012, Max Cooper offers a new vision of one of the track from The Glare, Secrets Accusations And Charges. From such a combination of talents, you can only expect the best. And the best it is. Expect a “Deconstruction” of the track, by Cooper as well, announced as more “dance-floor Friendly”.

C’est un peu la journée Charli XCX avec la mise en ligne de sa dernière mixtape Heartbrakes & Earthquakes sur laquelle elle se fait plaisir en reprenant différents titres, de Blood Orange à Blood diamonds en passant par Drake, et c’est aujourd’hui aussi que sortait You’re The One, le dernier single de la Londonienne avec, sur la playlist, l’excellent Nuclear Season et son superbe rework signé Balam Acab, et bien sûr le dernier titre You’re The One, dévoilé hier sur Soundcloud (à écouter ci-dessous), un titre revu et corrigé par Blood Orange.
